After several delays, all the permits are finally in order and we will be holding our first Street/Art Fair on Sunday, November 27th. The street adjacent to ChimMaya, Hillview Avenue, will be closed for this special event.
The response from the artists/vendors/public has been Incredible! This first fair, will be modest in scale, but we are hoping it will become a monthly event in our community.
For some time, the challenge of exhibiting all the artists/artisans who want to exhibit in our gallery has become increasingly difficult. We believe by creating a monthly venue for ‘Local’ artists/artisans to show their work, we can fulfill our commitment to showcase the ‘Best’ that our city has to offer.
Our goal is to bring together various artists/artisans, bridging the gap between the gallery, artist/artisan, and the public.
We hope that you’ll join us, for this exciting new addition to our monthly calendar of events.
Sunday, November 27th
10:00am – 5:00pm
This event is being co-sponsored by:
Supervisor Gloria Molina’s Office
East Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce
Also made possible by the continued support of Barrio Planners, Eddie Torres, and David Vela.
