DECEMBER NEWS … OPENINGS, SPECIAL EVENTS, ARTIST SPOTLIGHT

The start of every year, begins with the promise of fulfilling goals and dreams yet to be realized.

For our gallery…we end 2017 and begin the new year, in gratitude for another year in business and an appreciation of our friends, supporters, and the artists/artisans, who continue to exhibit in our space.

Fundamentally, relationships are what carries us through our life. Our wish for everyone in the coming year…expand your circle of friends, meet new people, share and be open to new ideas, listen and communicate with each other.

Thank you…for your patronage, and continued support of our gallery!

Good Health, happiness, joy, laughter, abundance and prosperity, to everyone in 2018.

During the Holidays, it has become an annual tradition @ ChimMaya to host a Holiday Performance…in gratitude to our customers, friends, and family, for their continued support of our gallery.

Join us….for an evening of Art, Music and Holiday Cheer!

Saturday, December 23rd

5:00 pm – 8:00 pm

‘Tres Souls’ …. Performance

6:00 pm – 7:00 pm

ABOUT TRES SOULS:

The genre of Boleros originated in Cuba, then it made its way into Mexico into the 1940’s. Three piece bands ‘TRIOS’ were known to perform this style of music.

In recent years there’s been a resurgence of interest in ‘Trio Romantico’ music.  Roberto Carlos, Jesus and Rocio…are part of the new generation of artists, revitalizing and reliving…the romantic songs of the 1940’s – 1960’s during Mexico’s golden era of music, while also adding a fresh sound and bilingual repertoire to their performances.

Tres Souls….is a celebration of the musical richness of Latino Culture.

Hector Silva will be in the gallery, debuting his newest artwork.

Because of his recent health situation, Hector was unable to complete his piece for the December show….we’re pleased that it will be completed for the Holiday Performance.

Join us, as we celebrate the Holidays and Hector’s ongoing recovery…. : )

Ilaments Trunk Show …. Lisa Rocha will be in the gallery, showcasing her original jewelry designs.

Juan Solis will be in the gallery, signing/personalizing his artwork.
