Gonzalo Algarate

Gonzalo Algarate sculpts, paints, and builds furniture at his home-based studio in Culver City. His sculptures, an exploration of the human form, are worked primarily with oil based clay building outward, instead of carving away. As he works the medium, the work evolves. Each bronze piece is completed and becomes unique when the patina is applied to the piece.
