The work of Yepes, Valadez, Torrez, Magu, Botello, and Healy…along with many other notable Chicano aritsts, can also be seen in the current LACMA exhibition, ‘Los Angelenos’ at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and as part of the traveling exhibition ‘Chicano Visions: American Painters on the Verge,’ from the Cheech Marin collection.
ChimMaya recognizes and celebrates the contributions of ‘all’ the Latin@s that shaped, transformed and gave birth to the Chicano art movement.
