CiCi Segura Gonzalez
CiCi Segura Gonzalez studied art through private schools and East Los Angeles College in California in addition to working and printing at Self Help Graphics Studio in Los Angeles, California. She is currently an Artist-in-Residence with the Los Angeles based non-profit foundation, Theatre of Hearts/Youth First, teaching visual arts to at-risk youth and incarcerated teens.
Cici holds a fascination with uncharted territory and infinite space. Her work explores the worlds of the ocean, the universe, and the human mind with its labyrinth of secrets. When painting, Cici says she “begins a journey with no direction but with definite purpose: expression and sensation without words.”
